Development and Precision Processing of Industrial Aluminum profiles

      Since the late 1970s, China's aluminum alloy doors, windows, and curtain wall industry has begun to take off. The promotion, application, and development of aluminum alloy glass curtain walls in construction have grown from scratch, from imitation to independent research and development, from undertaking small construction projects to undertaking large-scale engineering projects, from producing low-end products to producing high-tech products, from constructing low rise building doors and windows to constructing high-rise glass curtain walls, from only being able to process simple low-end profiles to extruding high-end profiles with complex cross-sections, from relying on imports to outsourcing projects. Aluminum alloy doors, windows, and glass curtain walls have developed rapidly. In the 1990s, the emergence of new building materials promoted the further development of building curtain walls. A new type of building curtain wall appeared successively throughout the country, namely metal curtain wall. The so-called metal curtain wall refers to a building curtain wall with a panel material of metal sheet. Simply put, it is a curtain wall form that replaces the glass in the glass curtain wall with metal sheet. However, due to the different surface materials, there are significant differences between the two, and they should be considered separately in the design and construction process. Due to the excellent processing performance, diverse colors, and good safety of metal sheets, they can fully adapt to various complex design shapes, and can freely add concave and convex lines. They can also process various types of curved lines, giving architects a huge space to play and are highly favored by architects, thus achieving rapid development.

      The flat polishing groove is usually set up for two main purposes, namely, flat polishing and fine dust removal of aluminum alloys that have been polished on the sand surface.

      ① Flat polishing: The flat polishing groove can generate a certain thickness of oxide film and greatly increase the overall brightness of the aluminum alloy. Due to anodizing, the aluminum alloy after sanding and polishing treatment loses its luster. First, a flat polishing treatment is carried out to form a dense oxide layer on the surface, which fixes the luster. Then anodizing is performed to significantly reduce the loss of luster; In addition, Shenyang aluminum profiles need to be washed multiple times before sanding and anodizing, and may be trapped in the air or washing tank, causing pitting corrosion. If a flat polishing tank is used first, a certain thickness of chemical oxide film is prefabricated to protect it, thereby avoiding pitting corrosion or flower material in the washing tank before oxidation and improving the yield of finished products.

      ② Fine ash removal: Acid etched ash is very stubborn and difficult to remove using conventional methods. It can seriously affect the appearance quality of acid etched materials. Although the sand polishing groove can remove the majority of acid corrosion ash, there may still be a small amount of residue under certain special conditions. The flat polishing groove can thoroughly remove acid corrosion ash, thereby ensuring the quality of aluminum alloy and completely eliminating the pollution of acid corrosion ash to the color and electrophoresis grooves.
